Below are links to some of the numerous websites and blogs from around the Gladstone Region, and some of the amazing people I’ve had the privilege to meet:

  • Greg Bray Writer my old blog where nearly 10 years of humorous newspaper columns are stored.
  • Lyonic is the home base of Luke Linwood who built this site. Check out more of his work by clicking the link.
  • GAPDL is the acronym for The Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Limited. Check it out for things to check out in our neck of the woods.
  • Ann Huth is an artist who lives in the Boyne Valley.  Check out some of her amazing art work or sign up for one of her art classes.  Facebook link.
  • Brian Farber is a local author, his first publication is the very impressive: Hitler’s Zeitmaschine (Time Machine).
  • Gladstone Guitars and Ukuleles showcases some of the amazing (and incredible sounding) instruments built by luthier Graham Long.
  • Tracey Smith wears many hats from artist, massage, meditation and Reiki therapist, workshop convener and coordinating community projects such as Creative Recycling.  Facebook link.

  • Anton Guinea is a leadership consultant, public speaker and motivator.  Most of all he’s extremely passionate about helping people live their best lives.
  • Jack Viljoen is from South Africa but proudly calls Australia home.  The talented singer, songwriter, entertainer is also the man behind the annual Boyne Valley Country Music Campout festival.
  • Film Platter is a Gladstone based film production company.
  • Start-Up Gladstone is an organisation dedicated to helping budding entrepreneurs get their businesses off to a flying start.
  • Gladstone’s Mission to Seafarer’s staff and volunteers do an amazing job assisting the nearly 50,000 visiting cargo ship sailors entering our harbour every year. They also have a souvenir shop stocking lots of local goodies. Pop by and check them out.
